Parliament Hill Calendar: Events and Ministers’ Schedules

  • 12:00 p.m. – Etobicoke, ON: The Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour, will participate in the Mississauga Board of Trade luncheon, where she will speak about how Canada’s economy grows when young people get the education and experience they need to succeed.
  • 12:30 p.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development, will discuss how the Government of Canada is improving the Employment Insurance parental benefit to help promote economic growth and improve the quality of life of families and communities.
  • 7:15 p.m. – Toronto, ON: The Honourable Pablo Rodriguez, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism, will deliver the keynote address at a gala reception marking the start of the first Latin American Heritage Month officially recognized across Canada. This event is hosted by the Hispanic Canadian Heritage Council.
  • Halifax, NS: The Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, and the Honourable Lloyd Hines, Nova Scotia Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, will convene the annual meeting of federal/provincial/territorial ministers responsible for infrastructure to discuss Canadian infrastructure priorities.
