TORONTO, ON, July 13, 2021 – Pathway Group is pleased to announce the addition of Allan MacDermid as an Associate to their Toronto office team. Allan brings more than a decade of working in politics and business.
Prior to joining Pathway Group, Allan served as Chief of Staff to the Associate Minister Responsible for Mental Health and Addictions, Senior Policy Advisor in Northern Development and Mines, and Director of Policy for the Solicitor General of Ontario in Premier Ford’s Government. This builds on his previous experience at Queen’s Park under the Harris/Eves government where he served as a Policy Director to the Minister of Consumer and Business Services and an advisor to the Minister of Education. He has also served on numerous provincial and federal election campaigns over the past 25 years.
Allan also brings perspective having built and operated a business specializing in digital technology services and solutions. As an entrepreneur, he possesses strong business management, analytical and problem-solving, leadership and communication skills. Using this knowledge, he is able to effectively manage issues and crises, building trust with various stakeholders and developing integrated plans to meet an organization’s goals and objectives.
