Parliament Hill Calendar: Events and Ministers’ Schedules
- 9:45 a.m. – Chapleau, ON: The Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources, will visit northern Ontario on October 29–30, 2018, to meet with mining industry stakeholders and Indigenous leaders. On October 29, Minister Sohi will make a forestry announcement in Chapleau and a Clean Growth Program announcement, followed by a tour of Goldcorp’s Borden Gold Mine.
- 11:00 a.m. – Emburn, ON: –The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Tourism, Official Languages and La Francophonie, will speak at the inauguration of the Monument to la Francophonie.
- 12:30 p.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Honourable Jim Carr, Minister of International Trade Diversification, will hold a photo opportunity during his meeting with Daniel Mellsop, New Zealand High Commissioner to Canada, on the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).

- 11:15 a.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Prime Minister, along with Minister of Environment and Climate Change Catherine McKenna, will tour the Anthropocene art exhibition, joined by the artists Edward Burtynsky, Jennifer Baichwal, and Nicholas de Pencier. The Prime Minister will then deliver remarks and hold a Q&A session with students from Collège catholique Samuel-Genest.
- 2:00 p.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Prime Minister will attend Question Period.
