Parliament Hill Calendar: Events and Ministers’ Schedules
- 8:30 a.m. – Gatineau, QC: The Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Catherine McKenna, will meet with the students of Pierre Elliott Trudeau Elementary School and participate in a cleanup activity to engage Canadian youth in the fight against plastic pollution.
- 9:15 a.m. – Windsor, ON: The Honorable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development, will visit the Capri Pizzeria Recreation Complex to discuss how the Government of Canada is improving the Canada Child Benefit to better help middle class families and those working hard to join the middle class.
- 10:00 a.m. – Edmonton, AB: The Minister of Natural Resources, Amarjeet Sohi, on behalf of the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Catherine McKenna, will make an announcement on support for students, under the Science Horizons Youth Internship Program. A media availability will follow.
- 1:30 p.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change Canada, will announce funding for projects to prepare Canada for connected and automated vehicles and for research and development to reduce air emissions from rail transportation.
