Parliament Hill Calendar: Ministers’ Schedules and Events

• 8:00 a.m. – Windsor, ON: The Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, will showcase new technology being demonstrated by self-driving cars crossing the Canada-U.S. border.

• 9:15 a.m. – LaSalle, ON: The Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for FedDev Ontario, the regional development agency for southern Ontario, will make an important announcement that will benefit the Windsor-Essex Region.
• 10:30 a.m. – Williams Lake, BC: The Prime Minister, the Minister of National Defence, Harjit Sajjan, the Minister of Sports and Persons with Disabilities and Chair of the Ad Hoc Cabinet Committee on Federal Recovery Efforts for 2017 BC Wildfires, Carla Qualtrough, the Minister of Justice, Jody Wilson-Raybould, and the Premier of British Columbia, John Horgan, will meet with Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP members from the Williams Lake Wildfire Command Centre.
• 12:10 p.m. – Williams Lake, BC: The Prime Minister, the Minister of National Defence, the Minister of Sports and Persons with Disabilities and Chair of the Ad Hoc Cabinet Committee on Federal Recovery Efforts for 2017 BC Wildfires, the Minister of Justice and the Premier of British Columbia will visit the Cariboo Fire Centre.
• 1:00 p.m. – Williams Lake, BC: The Prime Minister, the Minister of National Defence, the Minister of Sports and Persons with Disabilities and Chair of the Ad Hoc Cabinet Committee on Federal Recovery Efforts for 2017 BC Wildfires, the Minister of Justice and the Premier of British Columbia will participate in an aerial tour of the fire zones in the region.
• 2:00 p.m. – Antigonish, NS: Sean Fraser, Member of Parliament for Central Nova, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, will make a funding announcement in Antigonish.
• 2:20 p.m. – Williams Lake, BC: The Prime Minister and the Premier of British Columbia will hold a media availability.
