- 10:00 a.m. – Shippagan, NB: Serge Cormier, Member of Parliament for Acadie – Bathurst, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, and Serge Rousselle, Minister of Environment and Local Government, on behalf of the Honourable Bill Fraser, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure and Minister responsible for the Northern and Miramichi Funds, will make a funding announcement for the Coastal Zones Research Institute.
- 10:00 a.m. – Gatineau, QC: The Minister of Environment and Climate Change and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, Catherine McKenna, the Quebec Minister of Culture and Communications and Minister responsible for the Protection and Promotion of the French Language, Luc Fortin, and Ms. Nathalie Des Rosiers, Member of Provincial Parliament for Ottawa—Vanier on behalf of Kathryn McGarry, Ontario Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry, will make a special announcement regarding the Ottawa River during an event on a boat along the Ottawa River.
- 10:20 a.m. – Quebec, QC: The Honourable Jane Philpott, Federal Minister of Health, will be delivering an address at the Canadian Medical Association’s 150th Annual Meeting and General Council. There will be a media availability following the Minister’s remarks. Joël Lightbound, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health, will also be present.
- 10:30 a.m. – Montréal, QC: A press conference at which Emmanuella Lambropoulos, Member of Parliament for the electoral district of Saint-Laurent, acting on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED), will make an announcement regarding S.O.M.R. High Precision Machining.
- 11:00 a.m. – Moncton, NB: An Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, will share details of an upcoming project for the Gulf Fisheries Centre, in Moncton.
- 2:00 p.m. – La Doré, QC: An important infrastructure announcement by the governments of Canada and Québec and the Municipality of La Doré.
- 2:30 p.m. – St-Bernard-de-Lacolle, QC: The Honourable Ralph Goodale, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, the Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, and Brenda Shanahan, Member of Parliament for Châteauguay-Lacolle, will take questions from the media regarding asylum seekers in Lacolle, Quebec.
- 3:30 p.m. – Quebec, QC: The Honourable Jane Philpott, Minister of Health, and Joël Lightbound, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health, will be visiting the CHU de Québec – Laval University Research Centre to announce funding in research projects aimed at improving the health of people with HIV/AIDS, and to highlight investments in research on conditions such as heart disease, asthma and cancer.
- 3:45 p.m. – Quebec, QC: The Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health, Joël Lightbound, will deliver closing remarks at the 2017 Paramedicine Across Canada Expo.
