Parliament Hill Calendar: Events and Ministers’ Schedules

• 10:00 a.m. – Dartmouth, NS: Darren Fisher, Member of Parliament for Dartmouth-Cole Harbour, on behalf of the Honourable Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, will make a significant announcement related to the Oceans Protection Plan.
• 1:00 p.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, on behalf of the Honourable Ralph Goodale, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, as she makes a funding announcement under the Community Resilience Fund.
• 6:00 p.m. – Truro, NS: Bill Casey, Member of Parliament for Cumberland – Colchester, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, will bring greetings at the opening ceremony of the 2018 World Down Syndrome Swimming Championships.

• 11:00 a.m. – Markham, ON: The Prime Minister will meet with the Mayor of Markham, Frank Scarpitti.
• 11:45 a.m. – Markham, ON: The Prime Minister will highlight changes to the Canada Child Benefit.
• 1:30 p.m. – Woodbridge, ON: The Prime Minister will meet with members of the Carpenters’ District Council of Ontario executive.
• 2:00 p.m. – Woodbridge, ON: The Prime Minister will attend a community barbeque with members of the Carpenters Union.
• 3:45 p.m. – Richmond Hill, ON: The Prime Minister will meet with the senior residents of Mon Sheong Court Richmond Hill.
