Parliament Hill Calendar: Events and Ministers’ Schedules

  • 3:00 p.m. – Uashat mak Mani-Utenam, QC: Stéphane Lauzon, Member of Parliament for Argenteuil–La Petite-Nation and Parliamentary Secretary for Sport and Persons with Disabilities, will announce financial support for two Sept-Îles companies: Envirolik, which markets its products under the Atikuss brand, and Metal 7.
  • 2:00 p.m. – Cambridge, ON: Along with local community representatives and stakeholders, Minister McKenna will be touring the VeriForm facility, a metal fabrication company that has invested to cut its carbon emissions and improve its competitiveness.
  • 1:00 p.m. – Thunder Bay, ON: The Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour, will highlight funding to help youth get valuable work experience in the green jobs sector.
  • 11:00 a.m. – Montreal, QC: Anthony Housefather, Member of Parliament for Mount Royal, on behalf of the Honourable Ralph Goodale, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, as he makes a Strengthening Families Program announcement.
  • 11:00 a.m. – Liverpool, NS: The Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Minister of Health, will hold a media availability to highlight Government of Canada programs and initiatives that benefit Canadians.
  • 10:00 a.m. – Sydney, NS: Mark Eyking, Member of Parliament (Sydney–Victoria), will make an announcement on Wednesday about funding for the restoration of the Chapel Point Battery Command Post. He will make this announcement on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage.
  • 9:15 a.m. – Toronto, ON: The Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, will make an important announcement regarding the expansion of Bruce Peninsula National Park.
  • 4:00 p.m. – New Carlisle, QC: The Honorable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will highlight the Government of Canada’s investment in the development of Espace René-Lévesque.
  • 6:00 p.m. – Québec, QC: The Honourable Seamus O’Regan, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, will present the Minister of Veterans Affairs Commendation to 15 recipients from across Québec for their service and care to Canadian Veterans and their dedication to remembrance.
