Provincial Events & Queen’s Park Calendar – April 10, 2017

Queen’s Park Calendar: Ministers’ Schedule and Events

  • 9:00 a.m. – Mississauga: Steven Del Duca, Minister of Transportation, Bob Delaney, MPP for Mississauga – Streetsville, and Charles Sousa, MPP for Mississauga South, will make a transportation announcement. They will be joined by Linda Jeffrey, Mayor of Brampton.
  • 9:00 a.m. – Picton: Jeff Leal, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, will make an announcement. Shire Hall, 332 Main Street, Picton.
  • 9:15 a.m. – Toronto: Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown and Ontario PC Housing Critic Ernie Hardeman will hold a media availability to discuss Ontario’s affordability crisis. Queen’s Park.
  • 9:45 a.m. – Toronto: Press conference: “Ontario doctors speak out against human rights violations at hands of Wynne’s Liberals.” Queen’s Park.
  • 1:00 p.m. – Etobicoke: Eleanor McMahon, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport, will make an announcement.

Chamber Business starts at 10:30 a.m. today

  • Third Reading of Bill 59, An Act to enact a new Act with respect to home inspections and to amend various Acts with respect to financial services and consumer protection.
  • Debate resumes on the motion for Second Reading of Bill 114, An Act to provide for Anti-Racism Measures.

Queen’s Park Calendar: Committees

  • 2:00 p.m. – The Standing Committee on Social Policy will meet to consider Bill 68, An Act to amend various Acts in relation to municipalities.
