Parliament Hill Calendar: Events and Ministers’ Schedules

  • 9:30 a.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, the Honourable Reza Moridi, Ontario Minister of Research, Innovation and Science, and Dominique Anglade, Quebec Deputy Premier, Minister of Economy, Science and Innovation, and Minister responsible for the Digital Strategy, will announce funding for a revolutionary new project that aims to make Canada a top destination for businesses seeking to grow quickly, invest, create jobs and expand.
  • 10:00 a.m. – St. Eugene, ON: Agriculture and Agri-Food Minister Lawrence MacAulay will be joined by MP Francis Drouin (Glengarry – Prescott – Russell) at Terryland Farms, for an important announcement about the adoption of agricultural clean technology in Canada.
  •  10:00 a.m. – Etobicoke, ON: The Honourable Marc Garneau, Minister of Transport, will join Yves Desjardins-Siciliano, President and Chief Executive Officer of VIA Rail Canada, to make an important announcement regarding VIA Rail’s fleet in the Quebec City-Windsor Corridor.
  • Minister of Finance Bill Morneau will attend the meeting of G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors being held in Buenos Aires on March 19-20, 2018.

Prime Minister’s Itinerary

  • 10:30 a.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Prime Minister will deliver remarks at the Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB) Annual Corporate Client Conference. An armchair discussion with the Chairman of the SEB Group Board of Directors, Marcus Wallenberg, moderated by the CEO and Chair of NRStor Inc., Annette Verschuren, will follow.
  • 2:00 p.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Prime Minister will attend Question Period.
  • 8:00 p.m. – Gatineau, QC: The Prime Minister will attend the SEB Annual Corporate Client Conference Dinner.
