Parliament Hill Calendar: Ministers’ Schedules and Events

  • 9:30 a.m. – Ottawa, ON: Anita Vandenbeld, Member of Parliament for Ottawa West – Nepean, on behalf of the Honourable Jim Carr, acting Minister of Public Services and Procurement Canada with responsibility for Shared Services Canada, and Minister of Natural Resources Canada, along with Mr. Giles Peeters, COO, Track24 Defence, will make an announcement concerning satellite network services.
  • 9:30 a.m. – Regina, SK: The Honourable Carolyn Bennett, Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs, will announce funding for the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies Pilot Projects and the First Nations University of Canada Centre for Collaboration in Indigenous Education. This funding will help ensure that all First Nations students receive a culturally responsive, high quality education, while respecting the principle of First Nations control of First Nations Education.
  • 10:30 a.m. – Dartmouth, NS: Darren Fisher, Member of Parliament for Dartmouth – Cole Harbour, on behalf of the Honourable Jim Carr, acting Minister of Public Services and Procurement Canada with responsibility for Shared Services Canada, and Minister of Natural Resources Canada, will make an announcement concerning satellite network services.
  • 12:45 p.m. – Chicoutimi, QC: The Prime Minister will visit l’Exposition agricole de Chicoutimi.
  • 1:00 p.m. – Chester, NS: Bernadette Jordan, Member of Parliament for South Shore–St. Margarets, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, will announce funding for a clean technology project that benefits Canada’s environment and supports middle-class jobs. The funding will be allocated through Sustainable Development Technology Canada.
  • 6:10 p.m. – Roberval, QC: The Prime Minister will attend Souper dans les Rues, part of the 63rd Traversée internationale du lac St-Jean.
