- 9:00 a.m. – Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove, NL: Nick Whalen, Member of Parliament for St. John’s East, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, will announce a major investment in innovation under the Atlantic Innovation Fund. MP Whalen will be joined by the Honourable Christopher Mitchelmore, provincial Minister of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation.
- 9:00 a.m. – Bouctouche, NB: Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard and Member of Parliament for Beauséjour, on behalf of both the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will make a funding announcement for Le Pays de la Sagouine.
- 9:30 a.m. – Westmount, QC: The Honourable Maryam Monsef, Minister of Status of Women, along with Anju Dhillon, MP for Dorval — Lachine — LaSalle, will make an important announcement that will advance gender equality – for the next 150 years and beyond. The announcement will be followed by a dynamic panel of leading voices from the Montreal area.
- 10:00 a.m. – Charlottetown, PEI: Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, Lawrence MacAulay, along with Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Canadian Heritage, Sean Casey, and one of Canada’s best-known chef’s, Michael Smith, will provide remarks at the regional consultation session for A Food Policy for Canada.
- 10:00 a.m. – Dartmouth, NS: Darren Fisher, Member of Parliament for Dartmouth-Cole Harbour and Darrell Samson, Member of Parliament for Sackville-Preston-Chezzetcook, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), will announce funding for four projects that support skills development, research and infrastructure.
- 11:00 a.m. – Sydney, NS: Rodger Cuzner, Member of Parliament for Cape Breton – Canso, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), will announce funding for two clean technology projects related to the fish processing industry.
- 1:00 p.m. – Montreal, QC: The Honourable Maryam Monsef, Minister of Status of Women, along with Francis Scarpaleggia, Member of Parliament for Lac-Saint-Louis, and Marc Miller, Member of Parliament for Ville-Marie-Le Sud-Ouest-Île-des-Soeurs, will be making an important announcement regarding the Government of Canada’s commitment to preventing and addressing sexual exploitation.
- 2:30 p.m. – Winnipeg, MB: An important infrastructure announcement with the Honourable James Gordon Carr, Minister of Natural Resources and Member of Parliament for Winnipeg South Centre, on behalf of the Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities; and the Honourable Eileen Clarke, Minister of Indigenous and Municipal Relations.
- 8:00 p.m. – Toronto, ON: Minister of Finance Bill Morneau will meet with the Governor of Nebraska, Pete Ricketts.
