Parliament Hill Calendar: Ministers’ Schedules and Events

• 10:00 a.m. – Boucherville, QC: Michel Picard, Member of Parliament (Montarville), on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will deliver remarks at Boucherville’s 350th anniversary.

• 10:00 a.m. – Edmonton, AB: The Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will host a round-table consultation on North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) renegotiations with agriculture stakeholders.

• 10:30 a.m. – Sainte-Thérèse, QC: A press conference at which the Member of Parliament for Thérèse–De Blainville, Ramez Ayoub, acting on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED), will make an announcement regarding the Fonds communautaire d’accès au micro-crédit (FCAMC), a community credit organization.

• 10:30 a.m. – Pointe-du-Chêne, NB: The Honourable Marc Garneau, Minister of Transport and the Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard will announce temporary measures to address the deaths of whales in the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

• 11:00 a.m. – Québec City, QC: A press conference at which Joël Lightbound, Member of Parliament for Louis-Hébert and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health, acting on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED), will make an announcement  regarding  Icentia Inc.

• 4:00 p.m. – Abbotsford, BC: The Defence Minister will deliver a keynote address as well as make an announcement to help strengthen the Canadian Aerospace and Defence sector on behalf of Minister Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for Western Economic Diversification Canada, at the 2017 Aerospace, Defence and Security Expo.

• 5:45 p.m. – Abbotsford, BC: The Defence Minister will deliver remarks at the 2017 Abbotsford International Air Show Opening Ceremonies.
