  • 9:00 a.m. – Vancouver, BC: The Honourable Marc Garneau, Minister of Transport, and Jonathan Wilkinson, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Environment and Climate Change Canada will announce new measures to help in the protection and recovery of the Southern Resident Killer Whale.
  • 9:30 a.m. – Saint John, NB: Wayne Long, Member of Parliament for Saint John-Rothesay, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, and the Honourable Bill Fraser, Minister responsible for the Regional Development Corporation, will be in Saint John on Friday, June 22, 2018, to make a significant funding announcement for Fort LaTour.
  • 9:30 a.m. – Toronto, ON: An infrastructure announcement related to community employment for infrastructure projects with the Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities; and the Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, and Member of Parliament for York South–Weston.
  • 11:00 a.m. – Gaspereaux, PEI: Tthe Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, along with the Honourable Lawrence MacAulay, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and Member of Parliament for Cardigan, will share details about the Government of Canada’s plan to improve the Graham’s Pond’s small craft harbour.
  • 11:00 a.m. – Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, QC: Lucie Charlebois, Member for Soulanges, Minister for Rehabilitation, Youth Protection, Public Health and Healthy Living and Minister responsible for the Montérégie region, acting on behalf of Dominique Anglade, Deputy Premier, Minister of Economy, Science and Innovation and Minister responsible for the Digital Strategy, and Michel Picard, Member of Parliament for Montarville, acting on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED), are inviting you to a press conference on Tecnar Automation and Labplas.
  • 11:00 a.m. – North Bay, ON: Anthony Rota, Member of Parliament for Nipissing—Timiskaming, will make an important FedNor announcement on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, and Minister responsible for FedNor. The announcement will help create middle-class jobs by assisting a Northern Ontario firm innovate, grow and capitalize on global opportunities.  
  • 1:00 p.m. – Vancouver, BC: The Honourable Marc Garneau, Minister of Transport, will make a funding announcement for rail and road infrastructure that supports the Port of Vancouver.
  • 1:30 p.m. – Toronto, ON: The Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will meet with members of Canada’s NAFTA Council about the NAFTA modernization negotiations.
  • Moncton, NB: The Honourable Jane Philpott, Minister of Indigenous Services, will participate in the New Brunswick Indigenous Economic Development Round Table in Moncton.
  • Eel Ground, NB:  Following the round table discussion, Minister Philpott will travel to the community of Eel Ground to tour the community and congratulate Eel Ground First Nation on its work.
