LONDON, ON, October 14, 2020 – Pathway Group is thrilled to announce the opening of a London office. The Toronto-based government relations, public affairs and communications firm has a reputation for building long-term working relationships between clients and three levels of government.
The new London branch is headed by Pathway Group Vice President, Kirsten Krose. Krose grew up in the Forest City, graduating from Catholic Central High School before completing her BA in political science and economics from the University of New Brunswick.
As a communications professional who specializes in strategic communications, public policy, public relations, campaign management and stakeholder relations, Krose brings a wealth of experience to the Pathway Group team, and the London community. She has held positions in the Office of the Prime Minister, the federal Office of the Minister of International Cooperation, and was a special assistant to Member of Parliament for London North Centre.
Provincially, she has held positions with the Department of Social Development in New Brunswick and in the Ministry of Forest, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development in British Columbia.
In addition to her understanding of how government works, Krose has hands on experience as a small business owner, having run a successful real estate business in Ottawa.
Krose moved back to London in 2018, working as a Communications and Government Relations Consultant before joining Pathway Group in May 2020. “When it comes to government relations and public affairs, we felt that London was under-serviced,” she says. The city’s businesses, organizations, and non-profits now have the opportunity to work with a local GR firm with a long track record of finding solutions to even the most complex issues.
Krose describes her work as building a bridge between her clients and government. “Sometimes if you haven’t had the experience working with government, it can be tricky to navigate the political landscape and policy process,” she says. “Our team brings an established network of decision makers and vast experience that helps organizations build strategies for success.”
Founded in 2002, Pathway Group is known for having a diverse team that crosses political boundaries and for working with a wide-range of sectors, including Healthcare, Manufacturing, Transportation and Infrastructure, Post-Secondary Education, Agriculture and Food, and Technology.
“I’m excited to be back in London. This is my home town,” says Krose. “I’m looking forward to working with local businesses and organizations to help them understand and navigate government operations and the legislative process.”
“For too long, many in London have thought this type of service was out of reach,” she adds. “That’s no longer the case. I’m here to help explain what opportunities are available to be part of the policy development process, and to provide the high-quality advice and strategic planning that will help London- based companies achieve their business objectives.”
