Queen’s Park: Ministers’ Schedules and Events

  • 9:00 a.m. – Toronto: Premier Wynne to participate in a fireside chat at the Ontario Natural Resources Forum. Sheraton Centre Hotel, Civic Ballroom, 2nd Floor, 123 Queen Street West, Toronto.
  • 9:30 a.m. – Toronto: Charles Sousa, Minister of Finance will participate in a photo opportunity with children at a family resource centre.
  • 9:30 a.m. – Toronto: OAASC: will be making a statement concerning the issue of school closures in the province. Queen’s Park.
  • 1:00 p.m. – Toronto: Charles Sousa, Minister of Finance, and Indira Naidoo-Harris, Minister Responsible for Early Years and Child Care, will make an announcement.
  • 1:15 p.m. – Thunder Bay:  Premier Wynne to participate in a fireside chat at the NOMA Annual Conference and AGM.
  • 1:30 p.m. – Toronto: MPP Mike Colle to introduce Private Member’s Bill to compel insurance companies to pay out claims to innocent victims. Queen’s Park.
  • 3:20 p.m. – Thunder Bay: Premier Wynne to visit the Suomi-Koti Seniors Residence.

Chamber Business starts at 9:00 a.m. today

  • Debate resumes on the motion for Second Reading of Bill 114, An Act to provide for Anti-Racism Measures.
  • Debate resumes on the motion for Second Reading of Bill 124, An Act to amend the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006.

Queen’s Park: Committees

  • 9:00 a.m. – The Standing Committee on Public Accounts will meet for the purpose of report writing.
  • 12:30 p.m. – The Standing Committee on the Legislative Assembly will meet to consider Bill 87, An Act to implement health measures and measures relating to seniors by enacting, amending or repealing various statutes.
  • 4:00 p.m. – The Standing Committee on General Government will meet to consider Bill 65, An Act to amend the Highway Traffic Act in respect of speed limits in municipalities and other matters.
