  • 8:45 a.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, on behalf of the Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science, will announce new funding for research equipment at universities, colleges and research hospitals across Canada. This investment will further Canada’s reputation as a global leader in science.
  • 9:00 a.m. – Hampton, NB: Minister of Finance Bill Morneau will provide details of next steps in the Government’s plan to improve tax fairness while fulfilling a commitment to lower the small business tax rate.
  • 10:00 a.m. – Montreal, QC: On behalf of Minister of Finance Bill Morneau, Minister of Transport Marc Garneau will provide details of next steps in the Government’s plan to improve tax fairness while fulfilling a commitment to lower the small business tax rate.
  • 10:00 a.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Prime Minister will attend the National Caucus meeting.
  • 12:30 p.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Honourable Kent Hehr, Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities, will participate in the launch of the Hire for Talent Campaign. The Hire for Talent campaign aims to make small businesses more aware of and confident about hiring people with disabilities.
  • 2:00 p.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Prime Minister will attend Question Period.
  • 8:30 p.m. – Toronto, ON: The Prime Minister will attend the UJA Federation of Greater Toronto International Leadership Reunion and will deliver remarks.
