Parliament Hill Calendar: Events and Ministers’ Schedules

  • 8:30 a.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Federal Minister of Health, will deliver remarks at the Canada 2020 Health Innovation Summit, where she will speak about Canada’s support for health innovation.
  • 9:00 a.m. – Winnipeg, MB: The Honourable Jane Philpott, Minister of Indigenous Services, and Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakana Inc. (MKO) will participate in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to support health care transformation for MKO communities.
  • 9:15 a.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard and the Honourable Marc Garneau, Minister of Transport Canada, will make an announcement on the Government of Canada’s plan for protecting North Atlantic right whales.
  • 12:30 p.m. – Ottawa, ON: David Lametti, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, will deliver remarks at the Canada 2020 Health Innovation Summit, where he will talk about the Government of Canada’s support for health innovation.
  • 1:15 p.m. – Ottawa, ON: An important infrastructure event with the Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, and the Honourable Lorne Kusugak, Minister of Community and Government Services, Government of Nunavut.

Prime Minister’s Itinerary 

  • 9:00 a.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Prime Minister will meet with the Fédération des communautés francophones et acadiennes du Canada, the Quebec Community Groups Network, as well as young leaders from official language minority communities.
  • 10:00 a.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Prime Minister will attend the National Caucus meeting.
  • 12:30 p.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Prime Minister and the Minister of Canadian Heritage, Mélanie Joly, will unveil the Action Plan for Official Languages 2018–2023: Investing in Our Future. The Prime Minister will deliver remarks.
  • 2:00 p.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Prime Minister will attend Question Period.
