• 9:00 a.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, federal Minister of Health, along with Jeff Moat, President and CEO of Pallium Canada, will announce funding to provide training and improve access to quality palliative care services in Canada.
• 9:00 a.m. – Sherbrooke, QC: As part of the 2018 International Mobility Week, the Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of International Development and La Francophonie, will deliver remarks at Sherbrooke University regarding a contribution agreement between the Government of Canada and the Carrefour de Solidarité Internationale de Sherbrooke [Sherbrooke international solidarity centre].
• 9:30 a.m. – Montreal, QC: Kate Young, Parliamentary Secretary for Science and Member of Parliament for London West, on behalf of the Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science and Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities, will deliver the keynote address at Microsoft Research’s “I Chose STEM” symposium. The event is in celebration of the International Day of Women & Girls in Science.
