Parliament Hill Calendar: Ministers’ Schedules and Events

• 10:00 a.m. – Lunenburg, NS: Bernadette Jordan, Member of Parliament for South Shore – St. Margarets, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), will make an official announcement regarding tourism opportunities in Lunenburg.
• 10:00 a.m. – Toronto, ON: The Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will host a round-table consultation on NAFTA modernization with labour stakeholders.
• 10:30 a.m. – Port Perry, ON: The Honourable Carolyn Bennett, Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs, will be announcing investments in water infrastructure to eliminate three long-term drinking water advisories at the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation.
• 4:00 p.m. – Washington DC: The Minister will also host a bilateral meeting with Ildefonso Guajardo Villarreal, Secretary of Economy of Mexico.
• 5:00 p.m. – Caraquet, NB: The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will take part in activities to celebrate National Acadian Day. She will also participate in the Tintamarre of the Festival acadien de Caraquet.
• 8:00 p.m. – Gatineau, QC: Steven MacKinnon, Member of Parliament for Gatineau, and Mona Fortier, Member of Parliament for Ottawa–Vanier, on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will attend the “Canadians Celebrate Acadia” show.
