  • 10:00 a.m. – Edmonton, AB: On the eve of Earth Day, Canada’s Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, Lawrence MacAulay, alongside the Minister of Infrastructure and Communities and Member of Parliament for Edmonton Mill Woods, the Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, and Member of Parliament for Edmonton Centre, Randy Boissonnault, will be in Edmonton to make an announcement on sustainable agriculture.
  • 10:00 a.m. – Saskatoon, SK: An event with the Honourable Ralph Goodale, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Canada, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for Western Economic Diversification Canada, to support innovative western Canadian businesses and their increased presence in international markets.
  • 10:30 a.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Prime Minister will meet with the Prime Minister of Italy, His Excellency Paolo Gentiloni.
  • 10:45 a.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Prime Minister will hold an expanded bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of Italy.
  • 11:00 a.m. – Windsor, ON: Sherry Romanado, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, will officially reopen the Veterans Affairs Canada office.
  • 11:00 a.m. – St. Ann’s, NS: The Honourable Mark Eyking, Member of Parliament for Sydney-Victoria, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, will make a funding announcement at the Gaelic College in St. Ann’s.
  • 11:00 a.m. – Moncton, NB: The Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Member of Parliament (Moncton–Riverview–Dieppe), will take part in the official opening of the Frye Festival.
  • 11:50 a.m. – Ottawa, ON: The Prime Minister will hold a joint media availability with the Prime Minister of Italy.
  • 12:30 p.m. – Ottawa, ON: Defence Minister Harjit S. Sajjan will be available to speak with Canadian media while he is in India.

  • 1:00 p.m. – Halifax, NS: Andy Fillmore, Member of Parliament for Halifax, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, will make a funding announcement.
  • 1:00 p.m. – Calgary, AB: The Honourable Kent Hehr, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, will make an announcement at the Carewest OSI Clinic in Calgary, Alberta.
  • 2:00 p.m. – Saskatoon, SK: The Honourable Ralph Goodale, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, will be at the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies campus in Saskatoon to announce infrastructure funding. Minister Goodale will also highlight the benefits of the Government of Canada’s Post-Secondary Institutions Strategic Investment Fund.
  • 2:00 p.m. – Charlottetown, PEI: Sean Casey, Member of Parliament for Charlottetown, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, and the Honourable Heath MacDonald, PEI Minister of Economic Development and Tourism, will join representatives at Tronos to make an announcement.
